I recently realized how much time I waste searching for missing artwork in my iTunes library. I’ve tried a few apps that I’ve had to install that work sometimes, but they take up extra memory, especially if they run as a tray app.

So, I’ve decided to have a crack at my own take at solving this dilemma with coversrc. Using Last.fm’s web service, I am able to find out what tracks have been listened to. With this, I can use other providers to grab album artwork.

Technically, this app uses Sinatra and runs on Heroku. Heroku is amazing and once again, Sinatra never ceases to amaze me. I had fun with the design too. I have been out of CSS for a long time and it was nice to get back into it using SASS.
