livingroom.fm, and ode to the old days of Soulseek

You may or may not remember Soulseek. It was a file sharing application that was originally built for Windows. What I loved about the original Soulseek was how you found music. It wasn’t fed to you via an algorithm. You found stuff by peering into real people’s collections. You could usually find related stuff just based on a person’s tastes. I found so much good music that way and I miss that kind of exploration.

While I still love the original Soulseek, I wanted to use Claude to make my own version that runs solely in a browser that met these needs and just see what was possible. Imagine if Slack/Discord allowed real-time audio streaming.
